Presence is a one-person studio building proper websites for small NZ businesses — one flat price, no surprises, yours to own. We’re based on the Kāpiti Coast and work with businesses anywhere in Aotearoa.
what we make
A custom 10-page website on your own domain, with an admin panel you log into to make small edits whenever you like. Mobile-first, fast on 4G, written for Google and for the people who’ll actually read it.
If you want, we can also run your Instagram on the same brand — three posts a week, drafted, designed, scheduled and published. You review a week of drafts each Monday and we publish from there.
what we don’t do
- We don’t build Wix or Squarespace templates with your logo dropped in. Every site is custom.
- We don’t lock you in. The site lives on your domain, in your admin, and you can take it elsewhere any time.
- We don’t sell “packages” that change shape every quarter. The same three packages on the home page are the same packages we’ll quote you on next year.
- We don’t do sales calls. Drop us an email; if we’re a fit, we’ll send back a quote within a working day.
how we work
- Brief. You fill out a short form (about 20 minutes). We pull together everything we need from that — copy, photos if you have them, brand notes.
- Design + build. About a week of work on our end. You see the site as it comes together, not after the fact.
- Review + launch.Two rounds of changes built in. Once you’re happy, we point your domain at the site and you’re live.
- Handover.You get the admin login, a short walkthrough, and the keys. We keep the Instagram side running if you’ve ordered it; the website is yours.
who’s behind it
Alex Coningham. Built websites for fifteen years for studios and agencies in New Zealand and the UK. Presence is the version of that work without the agency in the middle — one person you talk to, one price, one site you own.
